Tasty Tuesday: PS Snacks Cookie Dough
In this new series, I will be posting quick reviews about different products I receive. I get a TON of free samples and full-size snack items to try. I give some away, share some with my fiance, and keep some for myself, but it seems like I never really tell you guys about them on here! This is my way of sharing different snack ideas with you all. For transparency’s sake, I will let you know where/how I received the product, as well as my honest thoughts about them.
Have you guys ever heard of P.S. Snacks Cookie Dough? Um, so these are amazing. They taste so good, and you’re thinking you’re eating something on the naughty list, but really? It’s mostly beans! I don’t even know how they do it, but I’m glad they do.
So what are they? They’re 3-ounce cups of goodness! They are vegan, gluten-free, clean snacks. I love having them after work or before a volleyball game.
They come in three flavors: Chocolate chip cookie dough, peanut butter cookie dough, and fudge brownie cookie dough. I used to think chocolate chip was my favorite flavor, but I’m pretty sure that’s because that was the only one I had for the longest time, so… My current favorite? Fudge brownie. YUM! So, so good. Bonus points for getting some extra fiber (4g) and protein (6g) from one little cup.
I’ve had these at a number of fitness events, but most recently won a box of them as part of a giveaway with BIOHM. They sell them in a lot of Whole Foods stores (but not all), so I’m going to have to pay attention the next time I shop there. These are definitely snacks that will be getting my coins!
Their website has some great recipes and creative ways to use the cookie dough. I think I’m going to try to make their overnight oats. If it ends up looking ugly, I’m not going to tell you guys, so you’re going to have to use your imagination. But if it ends up coming out all Pinterest-worthy, you may see it appear all over my social media. #imjustsayin
