What is Your #Six02Moment? Plus, a GIVEAWAY!

SIX:02 sent me a $25 gift card to shop their online store (they don’t currently have any stores in my area). I was so excited! I love active wear obviously, and I love looking at different brands and styles online. Wait, hold on a second. What is SIX:02?

According to the folks at SIX:02, SIX:02 is “the fitness destination for performance, fit and style, dedicated to women.” They carry apparel, footwear, accessories, and even fitness equipment! You can find most top brands at their online store, which is pretty sweet. Oh, and they fall under the Foot Locker, Inc. umbrella, so it’s part of a company for which you’re already familiar. I know that when I learn about a new brand, I often give it the side eye and a raised eyebrow. How do I know I’m shopping with a company I can trust? Well, no worries about that here, because you probably have a Foot Locker at your local mall, or have shopped there at least once in your life.

Their website layout is pretty cool. You can choose to shop by activity, product, or brand. This came in handy when I was looking for new tops and sports bras. I don’t currently have much brand allegiance, but for someone who does, it helps to be able to just select the brand and search for items that way.

Another cool item on their website is their SIX:02 Fit Crew. Here, they highlight different influential women in different fitness areas. Pretty cool!

Okay, so what did I buy? Well, I bought my first running hat, which I’ve been wearing for training, beach volleyball, and most recently wore at my first 4-Mile race (post forthcoming), as well as another sports bra.

I’m so happy with my ASICS Dawn-2-Dusk Reflective Cap! It’s a women’s fit, so it doesn’t make my head look bigger than it already is, and it has a comfortable yet snug fit. I like how lightweight it is, so that I don’t sweat from my head like some sort of a beast. It protects my eyes from the sun, and keeps sweat from dripping into my eyes during long runs. Oh, and it also keeps my bun under control, ’cause we all know it can get out of control at the drop of a hat (teehee). It does have reflective features, including the logo, but you know my butt isn’t getting up to take it for a dawn test run any time soon. Am I right?

The second item I purchased was the Moving Comfort Endurance Racer High-Impact Sports Bra. As you may have already read, I am on a mission to review all different types of sports bras for my sisters out there who may be struggling to find a sports bra that works for them. Now, this sports bra… this sports bra does the trick! I’ll have a more extensive review at a later time, but for now I will say that while it smooshes everything together, it definitely holds everything in place. I’ve taken it on a few runs, and even have played some beach volleyball in it.

I’m very happy with my SIX:02 experience. The prices were great, and the items shipped pretty quickly — plus I got free shipping with my purchase! I was also happy to get to try something new in the running cap, and was happy with their selection of sports bras. I’ll definitely be shopping with SIX:02 again!
