Why I’m Protesting Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
It’s not for a political reason. It’s not because of my religion. And it ain’t because of any food allergies.
Why am I protesting the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew at Starbucks?
It’s way too early for all that, bro!
Can the leaves start to change colors first? Can it drop below 80 degrees during the day? Can it be October, for Pete’s sake?
Don’t get me wrong: I love the fall! The fall foliage in my area is drop-dead gorgeous, I love the smell of fall air, the fragrances of fall fruits and veggies are so comforting, and fall fashion is my favorite fashion. BUT, I love everything that the summer represents! Seeing daylight when I get out of work, being outside all the time, the sound of insects at night. All of it! Can I just hang on to my summer until my summer is over? I’m looking at you, Starbucks. But also you, Dunkin Donuts, with your rude tweets!
