Fit Fashion: July in Fabletics

Yoga in Fabletics

Y’all, it has been a minute. I mean this in every way, shape, and form. I just… it’s just generally been a minute.

There has been so much going on, and I’m having a challenging time organizing all of my thoughts in order to tell you all what’s been going on, but I’m going to be better this month. I promise that to myself and to all of you! So, I thought I’d share my first post of the month by telling you about something fun: FASHION!

You all already know about my Fabletics obsession. Frankly, I feel like a real trendsetter because I’ve been in love with Fabletics since before it was popular. 😆 (Fun fact, you can get 2 pairs of leggings for $24 with my referral link!)

This month, I received another great outfit from Fabletics. It is so comfortable, lightweight, and yoga friendly!

This outfit – the Linear 2-Piece Outfit – includes the Mina Tie-Up Tank in white and the High-Waisted SculptKnit Classic Legging in lipstick red. I wear a medium in Fabletics in most things (some tanks I wear a small, shockingly, because they’re cut a little baggier or longer, and I don’t have a particularly long torso). This outfit fits perfectly, but I think a shorter person might find the leggings to be a little bit longer than they might want. I’m about 5’7, and the leggings were on the cusp of being just a little too long, but they worked out great!

For these photos, I moved around a lot in this outfit. I tried out a lot of different types of yoga poses, I jumped around, and I just moved around quite a bit. The tank top is definitely very lightweight and felt great on a day when the temperature hit over 90 degrees Fahrenheit with very high humidity.

Because of all of the movement I did, and the lack of needing to make adjustments to my outfit, I will say that this was a yoga-friendly outfit. It’s not easy for me to find leggings that are yoga-friendly, as weird as it sounds, but it’s true! My running leggings usually can be worn as my indoor cycling leggings and HIIT workout leggings, but they can’t always be worn as my yoga leggings – and vice versa. I think it has to do with the amount of stretch and compression, but I hadn’t thought too deeply about it. I’ll have to do some research on this and report back!

I’m so excited about adding this outfit to my summer workout wardrobe! I have a lot of activities going on – especially since I’ve returned to teaching my indoor cycling classes – and it doesn’t hurt to look cute while doing them! Am I right?

Okay, so now I want to hear from you guys:

What are your favorite yoga leggings? Do you have different articles of workout gear for different purposes?
