World Cup Bingo (printable version below)

I really enjoy watching the World Cup. It makes you feel patriotic, while also feeling like you really belong to the global community. I know that sounds corny, but I believe it! Oh, right, and another reason I love to watch the World Cup: The hot men. Let’s be honest here. I would not be watching it if it weren’t for the hot soccer football players.

It’s not too difficult to watch the games without knowing too much about the sport, which can make anyone an instant fan. Short story: I was walking down on the National Mall earlier this week, and I saw people playing Ultimate Frisbee. I could not understand the rules or anything about the game, and gave up watching after about 10 minutes. Last night, I realized I hadn’t come up with a World Cup bingo board, so I decided to get on it stat!

Here are the rules:

  1. Don’t do the exercises during the actual match. You’ll probably get your board filled in by halftime, so do them then! Otherwise, you can do them after the game.
  2. I’m not saying you could use this as a drinking game, but I’m also not saying you could not. (Drink responsibly and legally if you do, people!)
  3. Once you complete a column or row, do a set of these exercises:
    • 20 squats
    • 10 lunges per side
    • 10 tuck jumps
    • 25 standing calf raises
    • 30 jumping jacks
Bonus: Pick the team you want to win before the match begins. The person who picks the losing team has to do a full set of all of the exercises at the end of the match!
Feel free to pin, print, tweet, and share this bingo board with your friends. Enjoy!
Are there any sports you like to watch that you don’t typically follow during the regular season? Have you caught any World Cup matches thus far? Which team are you rooting for this year?

P.S. If you end up using my World Cup Bingo Board, share your thoughts with me on twitter or instagram!

EDIT: Totally forgot to give a shout out to my friends Virginia and Max for helping me fill all of the boxes. Thanks guys! Also, here’s a printable version of the bingo board.
