5 June Goals

It’s that time again! Goal setting, here we come!

I think I did pretty well in April with hitting my goals. In fact, I did pretty awesomely, if I may say so myself. I hit a plateau a few weeks back, but I’ve started incorporating even more strength into my fitness routine, and I’m kicking butt now! I decided to kick-start my May with a 24-hour fast just to shake things up and give my system a supercharge. Surprisingly, I felt fantastic!

So now, let’s take a look and see what goals I’ve come up with for the month of May.

  1. Try an EMOM workout – Okay, so I’ll be honest: I just found out what this is, but I still want to try it. It sounds a lot like a power hour from college, and I was too much of a wuss to try it then. I try to do things from time to time that scare/intimidate me, which brings me to #2.
  2. Try two new fitness classes There are so many classes I’ve been wanting to try, so I just need to go for it! I’m giving myself a goal of trying at least one new class every other week. Stay tuned!
  3. Hike in a new place I have a bunch of go-to hiking spots, but I want to get out and explore a new area. I have this great book of different trails in the region, and I haven’t been to a lot of them before. I’m good to use this book as a guide to picking my next hiking spot!
  4. Go for a bike ride The weather has been pretty mild so far, and my bike has been calling my name! (It’s also been pretty irritated at how much time I’ve been spending on stationary bikes.) I really have no excuse to ignore my bike this month. My schedule is a lot clearer these days!
  5. Finish reading a book! I keep starting new books, and I need to just sit still and finish one before moving on to the next. It’s becoming a bad habit, and I need to break it! As soon as I finish one of these daggone books, I will post a review so you guys can see what I’m reading.
Keep an eye out here and on my social media channels to see my progress on these goals!
What are some of your goals for this month? Any good books to recommend? Any cool workouts you suggest I try?
