I have so many updates to share with you this week, but here are the first two: I got certified to teach HIIT & Flow, and I was recently hired to teach this format as well as yoga for Flex & Flow! I have fallen in love with teaching classes – both online and in-person – and will be adding two virtual classes to my weekly schedule starting next month. Stay tuned for updates on those classes OR sign up for my email list to stay in the loop!
Why I Love Flex & Flow
I have been a huge fan of the founders of Flex & Flow for almost a decade now! They used to be known as Fit Approach (you may have known them as Sweat Pink) but made some major changes in everything they do. They have taken a strong stance on social justice issues, and have put their money where their mouth is when it comes to elevating diverse voices and fostering an inclusive community. In their own words:
We have come a long way in the last 9 years, from a dream and a suitcase full of pink shoelaces to a dynamic space humming with inspiring voices on fitness, wellness, culture, and inclusivity. And now we’re bringing together all of our magic under one roof, to channel our energy and resources in more powerful ways.
Despite the fact that it’s on the other side of the country, Flex & Flow feels like home. You can learn more about my experiences as well as my personal and professional development with this amazing group by reading this post.
I am so excited to teach my classes and take classes from the other amazing instructors on the roster! Hopefully next year I can finally visit the Portland, Oregon studio.
Keep an eye on my Instagram feed for a taste of my HIIT & Flow and yoga classes.
I am so excited about this announcement that I am giving away a 6-month subscription to Flex & Flow’s Digital Studio! This includes unlimited live and on-demand classes. (You can sign up to stream a free class here if you’d like to check it out while you wait to see if you’ve won!)
Be sure to fill out the Rafflecopter form below in order to be entered to win! Make sure you follow all of the rules because I’m a stickler and will follow up and make sure you’re not entering from a giveaway account or checking off tasks you didn’t do. You know I’m an unauthorized, unlicensed, unsolicited private investigator. 😛
I’ve gotten so much more comfortable with teaching classes virtually, and it’s so great that it offers more flexibility than teaching classes in person. I’m not cutting down on my in-person classes, so it helps to be able to teach a class right at the end of the workday, or in the morning right before I start my day — without having to worry about driving anywhere!
Have you ever taken a class on Flex & Flow’s Digital Studio? If so, which classes have you taken? If not, which class interests you most?
